Sanghass and AshramsSiddha Maha Yoga Ashrams

The Siddha Maha Yoga global community encompasses diverse local communities. They are not only bound by their practice of Siddha Maha Yoga but often by their country or language. Individuals embarking on their Siddha Maha journey can receive the blessing by participating in a local community of their choice.

In tandem with these local communities, there are Ashrams – sacred places founded by Swamiji or dedicated practitioners. These Ashrams provide a simple yet nurturing environment for individuals on the Siddha Maha journey to live and practice under the guidance of swamis and alongside a supportive community. All are welcome to visit these Ashrams, immersing themselves in their sacred atmosphere and deepening their spiritual practice.

Siddha Ashram in Ujjain, India

Siddha Ashram Ujjain rests on the banks of the Shipra River in the heart of India. In 1990, Swamiji founded the Ashram in Ujjain, a place that lies directly atop the Tropic of Cancer and is, according to the Vedic system, the navel of the Earth, and home to the world’s greatest spiritual festival, the Maha Kumbha Mela. Back then the Ashram was surrounded by forest, and later a lively city grew around it. The Ashram is a sanctuary for spiritual practice, surrounded by numerous temples and the cultural vibrancy of India.

The Ashram features accommodation, a renowned meditation dome, an underground meditation chamber, a garden, a kitchen with nutritious vegan food, a small school for local children, and the world's largest Pardeshwar temple with a 2500-kilogram mercury shivalinga drawing people to participate in Indian Poojas. It offers various opportunities to delve into yogic teachings and practice and attracts thousands of visitors seeking spiritual learning every year. The best time to visit the Ashram is from November to March, and advance planning is advisable to fully experience this spiritual center.
